J (my husband) is away for the week, so it's just me and the boys.
This morning we walked down to the beach and made sandcastles.
It was something so simple, but it was fun, we built a mote around the castle and watched as the tide filled it, eventually washing the castle away.
Spending time on the beach is fun! I used to build sand castles and motes. And I used to like to stand on the sand where the waves would lap around my feet and dig the sand away and leave me standing on sand hills. fun. I'm sure you and the boys made some good memories.
ReplyDeleteExactly Callie, it was something sooooo simple, but i actually had fun :), I think i need to embrace my inner child and play more.
